Start calm Keeping your Camino spirit

Sometimes people arrive late after a long journey. Starting your Camino the next day at daybreak is perhaps stepping off on the wrong foot.

A suggestion….Stay an extra day for a day of charging your energy and reflection: we have a quiet room for this purpose. Choose a stone from our bucket to write your key purpose. Maybe a mediation. (Do your washing!) And there is a lovely walk in nearby vineyards to get your legs going; with a little steep climb to prep you!

Some pilgrims wish to maintain their connection with the Camino by helping out at the Gite; to be a volunteer. Sometimes its straight after their walk or years later. We always appreciate having people come back to share their experience with others. Please refer to the Testimonals for feedback.

To be a volunteer.

If you would like to share your Camino experience with others ; come back to help out with the day to day activity. Please click on the “apply” button. Your service to others is of inestimable value. Volunteers have their separate room and there are two volunteer beds; free bed and meals. We establish a roster of work to meet everyone’s interests. Its an opportunity to be of service in humility. Your stay is for a minimum of one week; two weeks is recommended.
